Mick Joseph MSPT, PhD. Expert Physical Therapist, Biomechanist and Exercise Physiologist. Dr Joseph has over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist. He was the team Physical Therapist for The Uconn Huskies and a sought after rehabilitation consultant for many collegiate and professional teams. As a professor at The University of Connecticut Dr Joseph studied, published and presented research in the areas of musculoskeletal cell and tissue repair and regeneration, injury biomechanics and prevention, exercise physiology and human performance, and rehabilitation science. Collaborating with Uconn Orthopedics and Sports Medicine departments and the Human Performance laboratory, as well as the New England Musculoskeletal Institute and Unites States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine, Dr Joseph is known for his translational research bringing bench to bedside. He has been a popular lecturer with many invited lectures and feature symposia for The American College of Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Associations. Dr Joseph incorporates this knowledge in his evidence-based approach to diagnose and manage musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Mick and his family have resided in The US Virgin Islands since 2016 where he has served the community in physical therapy practice.
