INTRODUCTION
Mick Joseph MSPT, PhD.
Dr. Joseph is an expert physical therapist, biomechanist, and exercise physiologist with over 25 years of experience. He served as the team physical therapist for the UConn Huskies and has consulted for numerous collegiate and professional teams. A former professor at the University of Connecticut, he has published and presented research on musculoskeletal repair, injury prevention, exercise physiology, and rehabilitation science. Dr. Joseph has collaborated with leading institutions such as UConn Orthopedics, the New England Musculoskeletal Institute, and the U.S. Army Research Institute. Now based in the US Virgin Islands, he continues to practice physical therapy with an evidence-based approach.
Mission
To improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practices in physical therapy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology, focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and enhancing human performance.
Vision
Dr. Joseph’s vision is to help the people of St. Croix and the Virgin Islands to achieve optimal health through advanced, evidence-based physical therapy and rehabilitation.
